Digital Radiography
We chose digital x-rays for two reasons. One, it cuts down on the amount of radiation by almost 80% compared to the conventional film. Two, it allows us to show the patient exactly what the dentist is talking about on a 17-inch monitor. No more squinting your eyes and imagining little black cavities that’s defined by a little speck on a 1-inch sized film sitting on a view box 4 feet away from you.

Waiting Rooms
Here’s food for thought. You go to the doctor’s office at the scheduled time. Yet you still wait at least 20 minutes before you go inside their clinic. Then you sit in the room and wait for another 10 minutes. If they always run 30 minutes behind, do they ever go home on-time? The answer is absolutely they do. How? Because they actually try to schedule it correctly towards the end of the day.
Here’s Dr. Chen’s philosophy. The waiting room is for a person waiting for their friend, children or spouse to be finished with their procedures. It is NOT for the patient waiting to be seen by the doctor!
Our waiting room is Internet ready so one can surf on the net while waiting to make the time fly by.
